It's nice to be back! With our baby Morgan arriving a month early,
medical complications I had after the birth, in and out of hospitals,
doctors visits etc…
needless to say we did not get our March newsletter out. Thank you
all for your prayers, cards and phone calls. Mentally and emotionally
I am doing great! Physically still trying to get better. Thankful
we had a healthy beautiful baby.
Take a look at this quick, fun and easy idea to spruce up your
matted picture frames with pressed flowers.
All you need is any size of frame with matting to fit in your frame,
beautiful pressed flowers or foliage and some acid free liquid glue.
First, choose the pressed flowers or foliage you will be using.
Next, pre-arrange them on the mat before you glue them down. When
you are ready to glue your pressed flowers onto your mat be sure
you gently glue the back of the flower onto the mat. Just a dab
of glue will do. Be sure to let them completely dry before placing
the matting into your frame with your photograph.
When finished you will have a Beautiful decorated picture frame.
What a great gift idea for Mother's day, Weddings, Showers, Birthdays
or just because.
How extra special it would be if the pressed flowers used were of
sentimental value. Flowers from a bridal bouquet, a hike you and
your loved one went on, flowers you received from your birthday
or anniversary. How about that precious bouquet your kids pick for
you? Oh how happy your child would be to see how you saved them
and made a beautiful picture frame out of them.
